Ingredients:
- Oil 5tsp
- Cloves 3
- Cinamom 2
- Fenel seeds half tsp
- Elachi 3
- Bay leaf 2
- Onion 1 big
- Tomato 2 small
- Carrot half cup diced
- Beans half cup chopped
- Potato 1 medium size chopped
- Peas a little
- Green chilli 2 or as per spiciness you wish
- Ginger garlic paste 1 1/2tsp
- Basmati Rice 1 cup
- Pudhina (mint leaves)
- Corriander
- Water 2 cups if in pressure cooker 3 cups in rice cooker.
Directions:
- Heat a pan with oil and add the cloves cinamom cardamom bay leaf and fennel seeds and saute well till cloves bulge up and fenels start to splutter.
- Add onions and chilli and saute till they turn golden brown
- Now add ginger garlic paste and saute till raw smell goes away.
- Then add all the vegetables and tomato and also half of the mint leaves and mix them all togather.
- Now add salt and turmeric and saute well
- Now add in rice and mix well
- Add water to it and bring it to boil and add the left pudhina (mint) amd corriander and close the lid .
- Cook in medium flame for one whistle and low the flame and keep for 5 mins and turn off.
- If cooking in rice cooker add the rice in the rice cooker and pour this curry into the rice cooker amd turn it on thats all.
- Once pressure released slowly mix it as the rice dont break and serve hot with raita.😊
